For OTO Sales Advisors, the presentation of your workstation is essential to your individual success as well as the success of Giant Eagle and its vendors. Event carts should maintain an image of consistency, cleanliness and unmatched professionalism at all times. To help ensure this, we are implementing a simplified process to keep all event carts clean and in good working condition at all times.
Sales Advisors will be essential to the success of this new process by alerting the main office anytime an event cart requires a cleaning, a repair or even a replacement part or unit. A “Cart Maintenance Request Form” is being installed onto all of our mobile tablets in the field. Sales Advisors will simply be able to click an icon on the home screen, then log the cart number, store location and what maintenance the cart requires. Once the form is submitted, it will be sent to the main office, where the work will be scheduled and completed.
This is just the beginning of many OTO process improvements and value-additions to come in 2014. With all of us working together to make small changes to the way we do business every day, we can position ourselves as an even more valuable asset to Giant Eagle and our partners in the industry.
