In-Store Merchandising Experts—Sharing Knowledge to Encourage Collaboration

In recent years, the Daymon Worldwide team at Stater Bros. has been able to partner with SAS Retail Services on work including resets in the Fresh departments, product recalls, warehouse relabeling projects and more. But not everyone on the Daymon/Stater Bros. team knew about the range of services we offer—especially given the recent influx of new members.

To help both of our teams make the most of our respective capabilities and partnerships, Pete Kalin, Vice President SAS Retail Services, and I met with the Daymon associates to share SAS Retail Services’ history and recent growth, as well as the new programs that are being implemented. We shared ideas for how these programs could work with Stater Bros. or Daymon supplier partners. We also explained how we ensure every Stater Bros. assignment, large or small, is handled with care—with project planning, store level execution and client follow up all monitored to deliver the best possible outcomes.

We were pleased to receive positive feedback on the presentation. Herbert Benjamin, Business Manager for the Daymon/Stater Bros. team, reported that everyone on his team left the session with a better understanding of the services that SAS Retail Services provides. They are looking forward to continued work with our team to grow the business at Stater Bros.—as are we here at SAS Retail Services.
