EMI’s Direct Deposit Initiative: Partnering with Huntington Bank

As we continue to grow alongside our partner Meijer, we are consistently evolving to adopt the most beneficial Meijer initiatives within our own company structure. To ensure our company goals align with that of Meijer’s, I am pleased to announce a new partnership between Huntington Bank and EMI.

In the next three to four years there will be a Huntington Bank in the majority of Meijer stores. Recognizing the impact of this expansion led us to the implementation of a new Direct Deposit Initiative with Huntington Bank. By October 31 of this year, we are aiming to have 100% of EMI employees enrolled in direct deposit.

Setting up this automatic payment allows employees to receive their pay without possible mailing delays or address problems, ensures timely payment of wages and creates a smoother self-service process for employees.

Not only will this new initiative ensure we are taking steps in the same direction as Meijer, but it also creates the opportunity for more effective and timely distribution of part-time and full-time employee wages.

Not only will this new initiative ensure we are taking steps in the same direction as Meijer, but it also creates the opportunity for more effective and timely distribution of part-time and full-time employee wages.

Additionally, Huntington Bank is offering an incentive for enrolling in direct deposit through their banking system. If an EMI employee opens their new account with at least $500 they will receive $100 in bonus cash and if they deposit less than $500, they will receive $50.

Not only will this Direct Deposit Initiative form a relationship with Huntington Bank, a Meijer partner, it also openly benefits EMI employees and streamlines the payroll process. This new program is a perfect example of the steps Elite Marketing Interactions is taking to ensure we are strengthening our relationship with Meijer, growing as a company and continuing to provide benefits to our trusted associates.

All the best,

Deborah Michaels
Senior Director
