It’s hard to believe that the holidays are already upon us and 2014 is right around the corner. 2013 has certainly been a busy and productive year for all of us at Elite Marketing Interactions! One of the biggest changes we’ve undergone recently is adding a new member to our leadership team. This month, I’d like to formally welcome and introduce you to our new Vice President of Operations, Jerry Slater.
A Michigan native, Jerry comes to us with a wealth of experience and knowledge. In his most recent role, he worked as a National Client Services Director for Acosta Sales and Marketing, serving as the primary contact for several leading manufacturers in the Fresh division. Previously, he held several other roles in the grocery industry, including as the Deli & Bakery Procurement Manager for Roundy’s; Director of Deli, Bakery and Human Resources for Family Foods; and Training Coordinator for D&W Food Centers.
These experiences have given Jerry great insights into both the retail and wholesale worlds, and have helped him build relationships with key leaders at many of the top food manufacturers. I am confident that Jerry’s knowledge and background will help us grow and develop our organization. Under his leadership, we’re looking forward to an exciting and prosperous 2014.
Speaking of prosperity, I also want to take a moment to wish each and every one of you best wishes for a happy holiday season and a bright New Year. I know it’s a busy time in retail, but I truly hope you’ll find some quality time to spend with your friends and family and to celebrate the joy of the season.
