Editor’s Corner: Feeding Your Knowledge

kelly-short

As a company, Interactions serves a wide variety of retailers and brands. But much of the name we have made for ourselves over the past 26 years comes from our partnerships with grocery retailers. Because of that, we’re always keeping an eye on what’s happening in the food industry and what the trends coming down the pipeline are. This month, we’re channeling our inner foodies to bring you three great articles about important happenings in the food manufacturing and grocery retail world.

We start with a look at what’s happening in stores right now with our Essentials to Engagement feature, which gives tips on making the most of National Dairy Month. Then we zoom into the future in our Market Watch feature as we take a look at new technologies being used to produce foods and what that could mean for both retailers and consumers. Last but not least, we come back closer to our currently reality with a look at the organic food trend—including what the organic label really means and what’s in store for organics over the next 10 years.

We’ve got you non-foodies covered, too, with tips for Sales Advisors on developing the perfect pitch and a look at how SAS’ dedicated and managed in-store execution models are changing the industry.

As always, I hope you find this issue informative, enjoyable and useful.

All the best,

Kelly Short
