Finishing the Year Strong

When the end of the year approaches, I am traditionally already focused on the year ahead, and this year is no exception. Planning has already begun for 2015 and our teams are balancing the end-of-year rush with the need to drive results in a strong way right out of the gate for the first quarter.

Before we get to the business of 2015 though, I’d like to take a moment to express my sincere thanks to each of you who have demonstrated willingness, dedication and commitment to the company this year. Interactions and SAS are comprised of thousands of individuals who commit day in, day out to drive excellence. To each unsung hero—including the Merchandisers who work overnight shifts, the District Managers who travel nearly every day of the week to meet with teams, our Sales Advisors who so brilliantly represent our company and to our IT, Human Resources, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance and countless other teams—I give you my sincerest and deepest thanks.

Regardless of where you call home or the language you speak, we are all unified and driven by a common goal of providing the most value to our retail and CPG partners. In order to continue to provide this value, we must live our Cultural Beliefs of I Hear You, Embrace Change, Right Things First, Be One, Open Up and Own It. Just as people are the foundation of this company, these beliefs speak to the core of how we must all conduct ourselves in order to move forward together.

It is easy for me to reflect upon how far we’ve already come on demonstrating these Cultural Beliefs. You have shown signs this year that you are living these beliefs, but I know we have more work to do. Although this year has proven to be challenging in many areas, I look to every one of you to continue to push for great results.

Thank you for keeping your focus this year and for your contributions in trying to achieve our goals. In January we’ll discuss our key results and goals for 2015. Until then, I appreciate all that you are doing to drive a strong finish to this year.
