A Celebration of You

We are now more than halfway through 2012, and as we reflect on the beginning of the year I am happy to look back on all we have accomplished thus far. Our associates have contributed with passion, dedication and performance. As our country gets ready to celebrate this most American of holidays, it is with heartfelt expression I want to celebrate you in this July issue.

I, along with, Dave Prostko, Joe McCormack, Kristine Bowman, Carolyn Leach, Nicole Burns, Todd McPencow, Eric McMillian, and Coty Lavere agree that our best-in-class attitude is what has made the first half the year so strong.

Our business cultivates around the classic belief that, “If you only do what you know you can do – you never do very much.” Tom Krause (1934)

This year has been filled with a standard of excellence for event execution and sales performance. We would like to highlight a few examples of events and dedicated EMI team members that have continuously reached these standards. These include, but are not limited to, The Meijer Concert Series 2012 – Anne Williams, Nicole Burns and team; The Senior PGA Tournament – Anne Williams & Todd McPencow; Channel 13 TV segment: What’s for Dinner – Chef Ray (Meijer), Chef Tim (EMI) and team; Channel 8 Cincinnati Ohio – Chef Chris (EMI); developing a quarterly EMI Executive Report Kristine Bowman and Team; beer sampling – Joe McCormack, Coty Lavere and Nicole Burns; healthy living – Operations and Sales Teams; Cooking with the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Cincinnati Bengals and let us not forget the other 62,200 events scheduled through June.

This is not a simple task to accomplish, but thanks to you we did it! It takes a lot more than a computer, iPhone and GPS signal to accomplish all that you have done. It is all about your passion, dedication and performance.

Simply said, thank you for all you do. We are looking forward to a successful rest of the year, and hope to continue the accomplishments we’ve seen thus far in 2012.

Wishing you a happy Fourth of July,

Deborah Michaels
Senior Director
