A Taste of the Season: Chocolate Mint Hot Toddy

Warm up from the inside out with this festive, grown-up spin on an old winter favorite.



1 oz. coffee flavored liqueur
1 oz. peppermint schnapps
6 oz. boiling water
1 (1 oz.) envelope instant hot chocolate mix
whipped cream, for garnish
shaved semisweet chocolate, for garnish


  1. In a large mug, mix coffee flavored liqueur and peppermint schnapps.
  2. Pour in the boiling water, then stir in hot chocolate mix until well blended.
  3. Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings, if desired.
