In-Store Merchandising Experts: Giant Eagle Selects SAS Retail Services for Merchandising Solutions

I’m pleased to announce that SAS has recently teamed up with Giant Eagle, one of the nation’s largest supermarket chains, to manage dedicated in-store merchandising programs for 240stores in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Delaware and Maryland. Nearly 400 new associates will joining the SAS team and will be responsible for all category updates, new item introductions, new store set ups and remodels for all grocery, general merchandise, health and beauty care, dairy/deli, and frozen categories at the participating Giant Eagle locations.

This partnership further validates the caliber of SAS’ retail experts and integrated technologies that will improve the shopper experience—increasing speed-to-shelf for items within Giant Eagle via innovative mobile technologies. It is also a great example of the “Be One” cultural belief, as it required the collaboration with our North American Private Brand Development partners on the Daymon/Giant Eagle team, as well as the recruiting and IT support of our partners at Interactions.
